Late Summer and Fall Classes are Posted!!!

Saturday, July 14th, 2007

Our late summer and fall schedule is finished and can now be viewed at: http://www.bravamusic.net/kindermusik-classes.html. Below are two ways you can save:

  • Recommend a family to our Kindermusik program. If they enroll, you both receive $10 off the price of tuition for that semester.
  • Enroll by August 6 and receive $10 off.

If you want to enroll your child in a class, but want to wait until August 6 to make the deposit, please let me know. Classes fill quickly and I want to make sure our current students get the spots they want.

Happy Fourth of July!

Sparkler Fun!

Sparklers can be a lot of fun but also a big pain (literally). I still remember picking up the wrong end of a “dead” sparkler. It didn’t make for a pleasant evening! What we do is to keep a bucket of water handy so that the girls can discard their used sparklers immediately without the risk of picking up or stepping on one that is still hot. We fill the bucket up high enough so that the entire sparkler is immersed in water.

More  Sparkler Fun

  • We always save a few sparklers to light up on the first night of school.

  • On a winter night, plant some sparklers in the snow. Light and voila! You have a pretty winter yard. (It’s fun for a winter birthday, too.)

  • For little ones that are scared to hold a sparkler, plant sparklers in the ground or bucket of sand (if it’s not too dry) before lighting them. Just make sure they don’t run through the yard until you have pulled them all out.

Kindermusik Adventures Week 1

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007

Hello Everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the first week of Kindermusik Adventures.  I know I did. Remember the way to get the most out of Kindermusik is to hold your own mini-camp at home using your At Home Materials. For those of you who made the Notebook binoculars, I’d love to see the “data” that your child has recorded.

If any of you would like to visit our Family Time class (ages newborn to age 7), you are welcome to do so on Mondays at 5:45.  It’s a great class whether you have one child or more than one. Please call ahead if you would like to visit so I can hold  a spot. It’s the only class that we hold during evening hours in the Fall.

We have several spots available for the Village camp, one spot for Our Time, 3 for Imagine That, and 3 for Family Time. If you know anyone who would like to join us, tell them to give me a call. I will also be opening up ABC Music & Me and Sign and Sing camps mid-July. I will let you know more details when I check it with the Dance Academy’s schedule.

If there are any additional Signs you would like to learn, please e-mail them to me or write them on our notebook in the waiting room.

I look forward to seeing you all for Week 2 of camp.
